Where: 17900 E. Quincy Avenue, west of Quincy Reservoir, just east of Pitkin Street.

Driving Directions:

Parking: Parking up the hill from the park, so expect to walk your dog on leash to the entrance

Amenities: Water, picnic tables, no shade, poop bags

This park is on a slope and is quite large. Unfortunately on our visit, we saw 3 separate dogs pooping and their humans not making any effort at clean-up. There was a lot of abandoned poop all over the park, in fact. Here's hoping folks will learn to be more considerate in the future. The humans in this park didn't seem as friendly as at most other parks we've visited (but there was a really sweet blue heeler named Max). Maybe it was just a bad day in Aurora! We'll try again.
